Aly Zaker to be buried at Banani Graveyard

Ekushey Padak awardee actor, vocalist of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, drama personality Aly Zaker has passed away. He breathed his last at a private hospital in the capital at 6:40 am on Friday.
“He will be buried at Banani Graveyard,” confirmed his son Iresh Zaker, by posting a status on social media Facebook, saying: “After four years of battling cancer, father left at 6:40 am (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un). We are deeply grateful for the blessings and love he has received. Father was tested positive for the COVID two days ago before death. Father’s janaza will be held at Banani Graveyard Mosque after Asr today.”
Meanwhile, President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep grief and sympathy over the death of 76-year-old actor Aly Zaker.
Earlier, actor Faruk Ahmed said that the body of Aly Zaker was taken to the premises of the Liberation War Museum at Agargaon in the capital around 11:30 pm. The last homage was paid there.
