All to be closed except emergency services in next 7-day lockdown

All offices, mills and factories will be closed from April 14 for seven consecutive days except emergency services. At the same time, all types of vehicles will be closed.
State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain told reporters on Friday afternoon.
He said all offices, mills and vehicles would be closed except for emergency services to curb the rise of coronavirus in the country. “This decision will be effective from April 14 with a seven-day strict lockdown.”
He also said that a notification will be issued on Sunday to close all offices, mills and vehicles except emergency services for seven days from April 14.
“People would not be allowed to come out of the house in any way during the lockdown,” said the State Minister.
Earlier, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader had said that the government was thinking of giving an another one-week lockdown from April 4.
