Akhaura mayor pays tributes to Bangabandhu

Newly elected mayor of Akhaura municipality of Brahmanbaria Takzil Khalifa Kajal today paid homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. 

He paid his homage by placing a floral wreath at Bangabandhu's portrait in front of the Upazila Administrative Building on Monday afternoon.

Upazila Awami League convener Md. Joynal Abedin, Joint convener, Md. Monir Hossain Babul, Md. Selim Bhuiyan, General Secretary of Akhaura Land Port Import-Export Association, Shafiqul Islam, Abdul Momin Babul, joint convener of Upazila Juba League, Shahabuddin Beg Shaplu, president of Upazila Chhatra League, General Secretary Sakhawat Hossain Nayan and others were present.

Takzil Khalifa Kajal won the mayoral post in Akhaura by a huge margin held on Sunday in the fourth phase. He was elected mayor for the third time in a row.
