British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s senior adviser Dominic Cummings spotted running away from office after hearing the news of Johnson’s coronavirus diagnosis

After the news of ‘British Prime Minister Boris Johnson infected with coronavirus’ on Friday – a senior adviser was seen running away. – reports Daily Mail.  

Daily Mail reported that the senior adviser named Dominic Cummings ran away from the back gate of the Prime Minister’s Office at 10 Downing Street.

In a twitter message for the citizens, meanwhile, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that “he had been tested coronavirus-positive as the symptoms of the virus was increased in the last 24 hours”.  

The senior adviser Dominic Cummings was in the office with other officials shortly before Johnson’s tweet. After hearing the news of Boris being infected, he was shocked and ran away from 10 Downing Street without telling anyone.

A video of the incident has been circulated on social media where Cummings was seen wearing a green jacket and carrying a laptop bag as he made his way down towards his car.

The British media reported that it was understandable the reason of Cummings’s escaping from office, however, the 55-year-old Prime Minister insisted that “he is still determined to lead the UK against the crisis” and will be continuing his role over video-conference. 

Meanwhile, the country’s health secretary Matt Hancock was also reported to have been tested positive for coronavirus, however, he said that he would also be carried out all the duties like before but with teleconferencing.
