Actress Jayashree Ramaiah found hanging at her residence

The popular Indian actress and former Big Boss contestant Jayashree Ramaiah was found dead at her residence in Bengaluru on Monday.
According to Bangalore police, Jayashree Ramaiah’s body was found hanging in a room at her residence in Pragathi layout in Magadi road in the city.
The body has been sent for autopsy, however, police believed that the actress committed suicide.
According to Anandabazar, citing various sources, Jayashree Ramaiah was undergoing treatment for mental depression at a nursing home named ‘Sandhya Kiran’.
The actress became popular by contesting in the Big Boss Kannada Season 3. It is believed that she committed suicide out of mental depression. She also posted about depression on her Facebook handle.
She told on Facebook live on July 25 last year that “she had been deprived since childhood”. She spoke of fighting mental depression.
“I’m not doing this to get publicity. I am not even asking for financial help from Sudip Sir. I’m waiting for death because I can’t fight the frustration. I am financially well off but mentally depressed. I have to go through a lot of personal problems. I have been deceived since childhood. I can’t get over them,” she told in the Facebook live.
Jayashree made her debut in 2017 with the film ‘Uppu Huli Khara’.
