Actor Mujibur Rahman Dilu passes away

Mujibur Rahman Dilu, a renowned actor and veteran stage artist, has passed away (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un).
He breathed his last at the United Hospital in the capital at 6:45 am on Tuesday.
Dilu’s elder brother drama personality Ataur Rahman confirmed his death.
It is learned that Mujibur Rahman Dilu was admitted to a hospital near his house in Uttara last Tuesday night with lung problems. The doctor in the hospital later informed that his left lung was 70 percent damage and his right side was 10 percent damage.
It is to be noted that Dilu’s performance started from the stage. He became a BTV listed artist in 1972 and has been performing regularly since 1976. He was away from acting for a long time.
His notable plays are ‘Tathapi’, ‘Somoy Asomoy’, ‘Sansaptak’ etc and ‘Ami Gadha Bolchi’, ‘Nana Ronger Dingulo’, ‘Jonotar Rongoshala’, etc. are his notable stage dramas.
