Veteran actor KS Firoz has died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital at 8.20 am on Wednesday. Inna-lillah ..... Raziun.
He died of fever and shortness of breath leaving innumerable admirers including his wife and three daughters. Producer Chayanika Chowdhury informed about his death.
Chayanika Chowdhury said he was admitted to CMH yesterday. Doctors say he has pneumonia. After the injection, his condition worsened. Later, he died at ventilation. This talented artist has acted in many of my plays. I can't accept such bad news in the morning.
Firoze's presence in Bengali dramas as well as movies is significant. But it started with a play. He got involved with the theater troupe 'Theater' and started acting. He has acted in 'Sat Ghater Kanakari', 'Kinglier' and 'Rakshasi'.
KS Firoz made his television debut in the play 'Deep Tabuo Jwale'. Dolly Ibrahim was opposite him.
Born in Barisal, the actor got a commissioned job in the Bangladesh Army in 1986. He retired from the post of Major in 1986. KS Firoz's first movie is 'Lawarish'. He has also acted in 'Sankhanad', 'Bamshi', 'Chandragrahan' and 'Brihannala'.
