Action to be taken if out of house after evening

If a person is seen out of the house after 6:00 pm during the government-declared public holiday to tackle the coronavirus in the country, action will be taken against him.
The government’s strict measures have been mentioned in the holiday-related notification on Friday signed by Kazi Mohammad Saiful Islam, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, on President’s order.
In the notification, it has been stated that “the holiday has been extended for 11 days from April 15 to April 25 on condition of following five instructions.”
The directive states that people must stay at home to prevent coronavirus infection. All were urged not to leave the house without urgent need. No one can get out of the house after 6:00 pm. Disobeying this directive, legal action will be taken.
Stating that movement from one area to another is strictly restricted, the notification said that all officers working at the department/district/upazila/ union level have to stay in their respective workplaces to fulfill their duties.
Earlier, the government declared a holiday in the first phase from March 26 to April 4. The second phase holiday was declared till April 11. The third phase was followed by a general holiday on April 12 and 13, adding the Pahela Baisakh holiday.
Lastly, the fourth phase holiday has been extended, as a result, the government offices and educational institutions will be closed till April 25.
