Accused picked up from police in Cox’s bazar

BNP activists hijacked detained BNP man and attacked the police at Koralkhali in Cox's Bazar’s Saharbil up on Wednesday. At that time, two ASIs and two constables were injured in attack by sharp weapons.

The hijacked accused is Anwarul Azim Prokash Erfan, son of Nurul Amin Member Member Para.

Chakaria police OC Bakhtiar Uddin Chowdhury said that a warrant was issued in court in a fraud case against Erfan. Police arrested the accused. Meanwhile, BNP activists attacked the police with sharp weapons and mobilized women in the fire, BNP activists said. Two ASIs of police and two constables were seriously injured. The workers took the opportunity to snatch the accused. The injured were given primary treatment at Upazila Health Complex. Later, he was admitted to a private hospital for better treatment. Three men, including a woman, were detained in the immediate operation. Legal action will be taken against them.
