ACI fined by Tk 17 lacs for marketing expired Tea

A mobile court of RAB has fined Tetley ACI Bangladesh Ltd in Konabari of Gazipur by Tk 17 lakh for marketing expired tea. RAB Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam conducted the operation on Sunday afternoon.
According to RAB, the Tetley ACI Bangladesh Ltd factory was expanding the production period of Tata brand tea and was producing and packaging it. The court was launched to verify the matter. RAB executive magistrate Sarwar Alam has imposed a fine of Tk 17 lakh on the factory authorities for finding the proof.
In addition, operations are underway against manufacturing low-quality hand sanitizers. RAB-1 Gazipur Porabari Camp Company Commander Lieutenant Commander Abdullah Al Manun and officials of the Drug Administration are present there.
