The country’s band fest on ‘Channel i Band Festival’ is going to be held on December 1 like last four years. From the beginning of this show to promote the country’s band music on stage, LRB’s progenitor Ayub Bachchu was directly involved with Channel i.
But this year, band legend Ayub Bachchu will not be with the show directly as he left the world on October 18.
So, he will not be in this year’s band fest but he will be highlighted throughout the show. According to Channel i organizers, this year’s band fest is dedicated to legend Ayub Bachchu.
‘Channel i Band Festival’ director Ananya Ruma informed, “The ‘5th Channel i Band Festival’ is going to be held on Channel i on December 1. This year, 15 bands of Bangladesh are taking part. In the meantime, 11 other bands, including Obscure, Different Touch, Dalchhut, Joler Gaan. The festival will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.”
On this occasion, a press conference was held on November 29 at Channel i building. Channel i Director and Chief Editor Shykh Seraj, Tipu from Obscure, Different Touch’s Mesbah, Dalchhut’s Bappa Mazumder, Joler Gaan’s Rahul will be present in the press conference.
Apu Mahfuz, Shafi Ahmed and Dilruba Sathi will host the band fest of this year.
