Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that the list of all nominated candidates will be published soon after the completion of the final scrutinization. The possible winners will be nominated.
He told this information at a press conference at the Awami League president’s political office at Dhanmondi in the capital on Monday.
Obaidul Quader said, “We will release a list in the alliance. The party-generated list was not given in the media. Many such candidates have come to the media, whom we did not give the letter. It’s confusing. I request do not confuse the media.”
He said that the party can’t afford to defeat by opponents’ strategy. Please be patient so that a complete list of party candidates will be published very soon. “But nothing will happen outside the letter. In this case, the candidates will be given exemption to the eligibility criteria.”
Meanwhile, after getting the nomination, there has been a clash between two groups of Awami League in some places.
When reporters addressed Obaidul Quader about the matter, he said, “In a big party like Awami League, there may be a few different incidents.”
Advisor of Prime Minister Salman F Rahman, Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Hanif, organizing secretary Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Naoufel, office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap, science and technology secretary Abdus Sabur and others were present.
