9 Bangladeshis die of coronavirus in Saudi Arabia

Nine more Bangladeshi expatriates in Saudi Arabia have died from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). With this, a total of 64 Bangladeshi nationals have died from the disease in the country.
Md Fakhrul Islam, first secretary (press) at the Bangladesh embassy in Riyadh, said nine of the 64 fatalities died in Riyadh and 55 in Jeddah. aa
According to the embassy, a total of 3,717 Bangladeshis have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Saudi Arabia. Of these, 3,591 are men and 126 are women.
The first COVID-19 cases were detected in Saudi Arabia on March 2. The country's health ministry has so far detected 30,251 people as Cavid-19 positive after testing 3,76,607 samples. Of these, 200 died and 5,431 returned home after recovery. At present, 24,620 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment.
