83.65pc pass JSC, JDC exam

A total of 83.65 percent students have passed in the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations this year. Total of 1, 91, 628 students got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA-5).

Primary & Mass Communication Minister Mostafizur Rahman handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her government residence, Ganabhaban, on Saturday morning. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid was also presented there. 

A total of 24, 68,820 students from 28,621 educational institutions attended the JSC and JDC examinations this year. 11, 44,778 of them are male and 13, 24,042 female. The examinations were held between November 1 and 18. 

Earlier, the results of the Primary Education Completion (PEC) and its equivalent Ebtedayee examinations have been published. A total of 95.18 percent students have passed in the examination this year. Total of 2, 62,609 students got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA-5).
