8 uncapped players in Afghanistan’s Test squad

Afghanistan have announced a 19-man squad for their two-match Test series against Zimbabwe, starting 2 March in Abu Dhabi.

Asghar Afghan will lead the side, who was reappointed as the captain after Rashid Khan. Eight members of Afghanistan’s 19-man squad are uncapped.

Afghanistan played their last Test against West Indies in November 2019, which they lost by nine wickets.

The two-match Test series starts on 2 March in Abu Dhabi and the second match will start on 10 March.
