8 Bangladeshi in LPL draft

The second edition of the Lanka Premier League will begin on December 5, 2021. Ahead of the tournament, the players' draft will be held on October 27. Along with many locals and international players, eight Bangladeshi cricketers will also take part in the player's draft.
A total of 699 cricketers from different countries were named in this year's LPL draft. The Sri Lankan Cricket Board (SLC) has selected 225 cricketers for the final auction on Monday.
The eight Bangladeshi cricketers named in the LPL draft are Mahmudullah Riyad, Mehedi Hasan, Afif Hossain Dhrubo, Taskin Ahmed, Sohag Gazi, Shafiul Islam, Imrul Kayes, and Ebadat Hossain.
Overseas players registered for the LPL 2021 draft-
West Indies - Chris Gayle, Dwayne Smith, Dinesh Ramdin, Roston Chase, Johnson Charles, Kemar Roach, Shai Hope, Kieron Powell, Rahkeem Cornwall, Fidel Edwards, Sheldon Cottrell, Fabian Allen, Chadwick Walton, Carlos Brathwaite, Shimron Hetmeyer and Joseph.
Pakistan - Anwar Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Irfan, Ahmed Shehzad, Sohail Tanvir, Imam-ul-Haq, Umar Akmal, Kamran Akmal, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Junaid Khan, Usman Khan Shinwari, Haris Sohail, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Amir, Hasan Ali, and Wahab Riaz.
England - Laurie Evans, Luke Wright, Liam Plunkett, Dan Lawrence, Samit Patel, Steven Finn, David Malan, Adil Rashid, Sam Billings, Oli Robinson, and Rovi Bopara.
South Africa - Bjorn Fortuin, Richard Levy, Wayne Parnell, Duan Olivier, Imran Tahir, Faf du Plessis, Radisson van der Dussen and Morne Morkel.
India - Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, and Binoy Kumar.
Zimbabwe - Sikandar Raza, Craig Ervin, and Sean Williams.
