61 stranded Bangladeshis return home from Thailand

Some 61 Bangladesh nationals, stranded in Thailand due to coronavirus pandemic, returned home on Wednesday evening.
A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying them arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a release on Sunday.
Along with 61 Bangladeshis stranded in Thailand, citizens of other countries including Thailand have also returned to Dhaka. Bangladesh's Ambassador to Thailand Mohammad Abdul Hye thanked the Thai government for helping to repatriate the stranded Bangladeshis.
With this, stranded Bangladeshis were brought back from Thailand in 14 phases in the last one year.
