6 killed as bus rams into private car in M’singh

Six passengers of a private car, including two children, were killed as a bus hit a private car in Mymensingh's Bhaluka Upazila this morning.

The accident took place in the College gate area of ​​the Upazila on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 9 am on Saturday. The identities of the dead were not immediately known.

According to local sources, a bus of Imam Paribahan was going to Dhaka from Haluaghat. The bus lost control and collided with a Mymensingh-bound private car in the College gate area of ​​the upazila around 9:15 am on Saturday. Six passengers of the private car died on the spot. The dead included two children, two women, and two men.

The bodies of the deceased were recovered and sent to Mymensingh Medical College (MMC) Hospital. The identities of the casualties were not immediately available.

Bhaluka Model Police Station OC Mohammad Main Uddin confirmed the incident.
