5.0-magnitude quake hits northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted the northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 0503GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 47.2812 degrees north latitude and 27.673 degrees west longitude.
