Agitated candidates, leaders and students of the Dhaka university placed blocked in front of  VC office demanding re-schedule announcement of Dhaka University Central Student Union (Ducsu) election and Hall Sangsad elections, as their three-day ultimatum is over.

On Monday, they took out a procession from TSC and took position in front of the VC office. At this time, various slogans were demanded for the re-election with the resignation of VC.

Arani Semanti Khan, a VP candidate from the independent coalition, said “Sir had told us to make a written complaint. We did, but no work was done. We did ultimatum for three days, but no action was taken. We do not want to talk anymore. We have come to listen to the Vice-Chancellor today. They have to make clear that they will not cancel the election.”

Rashed, the leader of the Quota reform movement, said, "We do not believe in the election of a farce, We will not believe it. The immediate schedule must have to be announced. All the false cases against us, must have to be withdrawn.

University sources informed those panels who took place here are; the General Student Rights Reservation Council, the ‘Progotisheel Chhetra Oikya Jote’ of leftist student organizations, Swadhikar Swatandra Parishad, and student federation supported panel.

In the program, hundreds of students including Joint Convener of Bangladesh General Student's Odhikar Parishad Rashed Khan, GS candidate ASM Asfur Rahman, Progressive Students Alliance and GS candidate(General Secretary) of the Comrade Coalition of the Samrajyabadi Student Unity, Umme Habiba Benzir, among others, participated.
