5 Eid congregations scheduled at Baitul Mukarram

On the occasion of Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, a total of five congregations of Eid prayers will be held in Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in phases. This time there will be no Eid congregation at the National Eidgah Maidan to prevent coronavirus infection.
The Islamic Foundation said in a press release that the first congregation will be held at 7 am. The congregation will be led by Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Senior Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Mizanur Rahman. Muazzin Hafeez Kari Kazi Masudur Rahman will be in charge of Mukabbir.
The second congregation will be held at 8 am, led by Imam Hafez Mufti Muhibullahil Baki Nadavi.
The third congregation will be held at 9 am while Imam Hafeez Maulana Ehsanul Haque will lead this congregation.
The fourth congregation will be held at 10 am led by Imam Maulana Mohiuddin Qasim.
The fifth and last congregation will be held at 10:45 am. The last congregation will be held led by Hafez Maulana Waliur Rahman Khan, Muhaddis of the Islamic Foundation.
If any of the Imams is absent in these five congregations, the Mufti of the Islamic Foundation, Maulana Muhammad Abdullah, will act as the alternate Imam.
