48 No Ward AL rebel candidate fired

Jatrabari thana Awami League expelled rebel candidate KM Fazlul Haque (Kite Marka) of ward no 48 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC). He was fired on Sunday afternoon.

Awami League's Secretary of Science and Technology Abdus Sabur confirmed this to Daily Bangladesh. 

Abdus Sabur said that Fazlul Haque is going to participate in the upcoming city corporation election as a rebel candidate, going beyond the party's decision. So the former president of ward no 48 was expelled from the party.

He said the decision was taken at an emergency meeting organized at Jatrabari Malach Community Center at noon. Those who are not obeying the party's decesion action will be taken against them.

Awami League Central Youth and Sports Secretary Harunur Rashid, Dhaka-5 constituency MP Habibur Rahman Molla, Jatrabari thana Awami League president Kazi Monirul Islam Manu and general secretary Harunar Rashid Munna, ward no 48 Awami League president Giasuddin  Gesu and others were present.
