45 Bangladeshis rescued in Iraq

The police rescued 45 Bangladeshi workers trapped in a house in Baghdad, Iraq. 

The information was given in a statement from Baghdad police command on Thursday. The information confirmed by a local media named on Friday. 

Police said that these Bangladeshi workers were kept in a house in the center of Baghdad. A labor firm confined them to use them in the future. 

After obtaining legal permission, Alauya police station conducted a drive in that house. During this, 45 Bangladeshis were rescued from there.

Police have arrested six people from the spot on charges of keeping the workers confined. Among them- two are Iraqis and four are Bangladeshis. Those four Bangladeshis along with two Iraqis confined those 45 Bangladeshis by showing job temptation, said the Iraqi police.
