43 new COVID-19 patients detected at RpMC

43 more have tested positive for COVID-19 at the PCR lab of Rangpur Medical College (RpMC), in the last 24 hours. Among them, 21 are from Rangpur district.
RpMC Principal Professor Dr. A.K.M. Nurunnobi Lyzu has confirmed the matter on Friday evening.
He said, 43 were found coronavirus positive after 188 samples tests at RpMC lab. Among the newly identified 21 are from Rangpur, 11 from Gaibandha, eight from Kurigram, and three from Lalmonirhat.
So far, the Rangpur district has reported 1215 infected cases; of them, 817 recovered and 20 died.
