4.0 magnitude quake jolts India

A strong earthquake has jolted several cities in India, including Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. The level of the quake was 4.0 on the Richter scale.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the quake struck around 5 am local time on Monday. The epicenter was 156 km south of Hyderabad at a depth of 10 km from the surface.
According to the Hindustan Times, people came out of their houses as soon as the quake started. However, no casualties have been reported so far.
Earlier, Sikkim was shaken by a magnitude 4.0 earthquake at 8:39 pm local time on Sunday. The epicenter was reported at 11 km west and southwest of Gangtok. Mild tremors were also felt in Siliguri.
