4 more deaths reported in MMCH Covid unit

Four more deaths were reported in the COVID-19 unit of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning. Among the deaths, two tested positive for Covid-19 and two had its symptoms.
Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, focal person of the hospital's Covid unit, has confirmed the information this morning (September 16).
One each of the deceased, who died from COVID-19, was from Mymensingh and Tangail. Besides, one each of the deceased, who had been suffering from COVID symptoms, were from Mymensingh and Netrokona districts.
He said a total of 104 patients are now undergoing treatment at the Corona unit. Some eight people have been admitted in the last 24 hours while 13 patients have returned home after recovering.
Meanwhile, Mymensingh District Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Nazrul Islam said, "In the last 24 hours, 39 more COVID patients have been diagnosed after testing 359 samples in the Mymensingh district."
