38 more people die of Covid-19 in country
Thirty-eight more people have died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 6,388 in the country. Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 447,341 as 2,060 new cases were confirmed during the period.
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) came up with the information in a press release issued on Sunday.
A total of 13,870 samples were tested at 117 authorized laboratories across the country during the time. The recovery count rose to 362428 after another 2,046 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the period.
The first COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the country on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
