350 transport workers get PM`s gift

PM`s food aid distributed among Chuadanga transport workers
A total of 350 transport workers have been distributed Prime Minister's gift in Chuadanga under the humanitarian assistance program.
The gifts were distributed at the city's VJ school football ground (Chandmari ground) around 11am on Sunday. Chuadanga-1 MP Solaiman Haque Joarddar Selun was present as the chief guest.
Each person was given 10 kg of rice, 2 kg of potatoes, 1 kg of onion and 1 kg of lentils, 1 liter of soybean oil, 1 kg of sugar, and 1 packet of semai as humanitarian assistance.
DC Nazrul Islam Sarkar, ADC (Overall) Monira Parveen, ASP (Administration) Abu Tareque, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Sajia Afrin, Joint General Secretary of District Awami League and former Municipal Mayor Reazul Islam Joarddar Totan, Organizing Secretary Munshi Alamgir Hannan, OC of Chuadanga Sadar Police Station Abu Jihad Fakrul Alam Khan and others were present on the occasion.
MP Solaiman Haque Joarddar said transports are closed on lockdown. Many transport workers are suffering from this that's why PM's aid was distributed among the needy.
DC Nazrul Islam Sarkar said the government has stood by the common man even last year during the long Coronavirus lockdown. The government has dealt with the situation smoothly even in very bad times. Due to the far-sighted thinking of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, no one has died in this country yet due to food crisis.
