337 govt officials promoted to deputy secretaries
The government has promoted 337 officials working in various ministries, directorates and agencies to the post of deputy secretary.
The public administration ministry issued two gazette notifications confirming the promotions today.
According to two notifications, 337 officers have been promoted. Of them, 15 people have been promoted in the first notification while the rest 322 people have been promoted in the second notification.
Of the newly promoted officials, 15 are working in various embassies and high commissions of Bangladesh in abroad. The remaining 322 have been promoted to Special Officer in Charge (OSD) of the Ministry of Public Administration.
