3 missing Jamalpur students rescued

Three missing child students from an Islampur madrasa in Jamalpur was rescued after five days from the Manda area of Mugda Police Station in the capital around midnight on Thursday.
The rescued students are – Mim Akhter, Monira Khatun and Surya Vanu. They are the 2nd-grade students of Darul Taqwa Qawmi Mahila Madrasa in the Banglabazar area of Goalerchar UP.
Jamalpur Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Islampur Circle) Md. Sumon Mia led the rescue operation.
He said police were conducting raids at various places to find the missing students. As part of this, the students were identified through CCTV footage from the capital’s Kamalapur railway station. Later, based on information received from the local rickshaw pullers, they were found at the house of a rickshaw puller named Raja Mia in the Manda area of Mugda police station.
Notably, the three children, all are second-grade students, were missing after the Fajr prayer (morning prayer) on September 13 from the residential halls of Darul Taqwa Qawmi Mahila Madrasa in Islampur.
