3 hackers arrested in Chandpur

Three arrested hackers
A special team of Cumilla RAB-11 has arrested three members of an online hacking fraud ring in Hajiganj, Chandpur. They were arrested from Aliganj Kangaish village in the municipal area on Thursday morning and taken to the RAB Cumilla office.
The arrestees are Shahadat Hossain Shihab, son of Zakir Hossain Bepari of Kangish village, Mainul Islam, son of Monirul Islam and Mahbubul Alam Abir, son of Abul Hossain. Computers, laptops, pen drives, credit cards and checkbooks of various banks used for online hacking were recovered at that time. Tk 2,39,900 collected through hacking was recovered from them.
At a press briefing at RAB's Cumilla office on Thursday, RAB's company commander Major Talukder Nazmush Shakib said the fraudsters had been using online payment systems in different countries of the world for a long time to buy online, pay various bills and discount tuition fees for Bangladeshi students studying abroad. A case has been filed against them at Hajiganj police station on behalf of RAB.
