292 more infected with COVID-19 in Chattogram

Another 292 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Chattogram in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of infections in the district has increased to 10,180.
Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the matter on Monday morning.
He said that in the last 24 hours, the reports of 1,318 samples have been received from Chattogram Medical College, Cox's Bazar Medical College, Chattogram University, Veterinary University, Imperial Hospital, Chevron Lab and Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID). Of these, 292 people have been detected as coronavirus patients in Chattogram.
Among the new infected, 232 are from the city, 17 from Hathazari, 16 from Raozan, six from Chandnaish, four from Fatikchhari, four from Banshkhali, four from Sitakunda, three from Satkania, two from Boalkhali, two from Rangunia, one from Anwara and one from Mirsarai.
The recovery count rose to 1216 after another 21 patients were discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours.
