29 lakhs tk worth tablets recovered

The smugglers fled leaving Indian tablets worth around 29 lakhs taka in Hili border of Dinajpur after BGB raid on Sunday noon. Later BGB recovered the drugs from Nandipur village near the border.

Commander of Mongla Special Camp Naik Subedar Salauddin said, “A large shipment of tablets was coming from India- on the news, raids were carried out in the village of Nandipur. The smugglers fled leaving a sack after noticing the presence of BGB.”

He also said that 58,000 Dexona and 42,000 Paroten tablets were recovered from the sack, which estimated market value is around 25 lakhs taka.
