250 stray horses roaming in Cox’s Bazar

Horses are roaming carelessly on Cox’s Bazar beach as they do not have the ability to earn
Around 250 stray horses have been seen roaming in Cox’s Bazar city in a dilapidated and helpless condition.
Once carrying tourists or goods, numerous horses of the beach has weakened due to age, as a result, the owners could not maintain them and left them wandering on the beach.
It is known that the money earned from these horses is shared between the owner and the workers. As a result, innocent horses remain hungry.
According to environmentalists, these stray horses were once the delight of seaside tourists. And the owners and workers associated with it lived on that income. But the horses were not fed. As a result, they used to live by eating garbage lying on the road.
Environmentalists also said that the horses became weak at one time due to starvation. The owners then leave them on the street. Many such horses can be seen wandering in Cox’s Bazar. Most of their bodies are afflicted with various injuries. Even horse carcasses are often found lying on the road.
But the owners are saying the opposite. They said the horses often left on the road as they became old. It keeps their minds cheerful.
