2 motorcyclists killed in Sarishabari road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed when a bus rammed them at Sarishabari in Jamalpur. 

The accident took place at Poolpar junction of Sarishabari-Mymensingh road on Wednesday morning. 

The deceased were identified as Saidul Islam, son of Mozammel Haque Fakir of Barbaria village in Kamrabad UP of the upazila and Akash Mia, son of Khokon Mia of the same village. 

Sarishabari Fire Service Station Officer Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter.

According to the fire service and local sources, Saidul and Akash were going to Senakair Bazar in the upazila by motorcycle from their home in the morning. On their way to the market, a speedy bus rammed them when they reached the Poolpar junction in the municipal town. They died on the spot. 

Upon receiving the news, the fire service personnel recovered the bodies and handed them over to the police station.

Sarishabari Police Station OC Abu Mohammad Fazlul Karim confirmed the matter.
