Awami League general secretary and bridge minister Obaidul Quader has said that the Home Minister and Foreign Minister have postponed the visit to India due to state busyness.

The minister discloses this information while he was addressing the chief guest at the eighth conference of the returning expatriate Awami Forum at the Engineers Institute in the capital on Wednesday.

Obaidul Quader said that the two ministers have postponed the visit to India in front of Martyred Intellectual Day and Victory Day. India and Bangladesh maintain a constructive friendship. Any misunderstanding of a matter will be resolved through discussion. However, domestic-foreign cycles are active to embarrass the government. BNP is working to destabilize the country by increasing the price of goods.

Referring to the BNP-Jamaat spreading poison of non-communal consciousness, he said that they are intensifying anarchy and conspiracy within the country. This cycle of mismanagement has to be broken. Miscreants have no political party.

Quader said, Sheikh Hasina is the greatest and most popular Prime Minister of post-liberation-war Bangladesh. For the party, there is no alternative if her. She is also most popular in Bangladesh and internationally too.

Regarding the national conference, Obaidul Quader said the Awami League's 21st national council will be orotund. In the meantime, the council of the 29 expired district committees have been okayed.

Congratulating Bangabandhu's granddaughter Tulip for her third victory in the British Parliament, he said that Tulip had achieved a hat-trick through this year's victory in the British Parliament. Besides, four more Bangladeshi have won. Congratulations to all of them. This achievement is an honor for the country.

Returning expatriate Awami Forum convener freedom fighter Md. Abul Kashem presided over the program while Awami League’s Organizing Secretary Enamul Haque Shamim, Industry and Commerce Secretary Abdus Sattar and many others were present at the function.
