2 killed in Bogura road crash

Two people were killed and five others injured in separate road accidents in Bogura.

Of the of the two dead identified Saiful Islam, son of Shahadat Hossain of Karigarpara in Buriganj union of Shibganj upazila.

Saiful Islam was kiled when a truck loaded with potatoes hit his battery-run three-wheeler at Nungol area of ​​Sadar upazila on Tuesday evening. Four others were injured in the incident.

Bazlur Rashid, senior station officer of Bogura Fire Service and Civil Defense, said the injured have been shifted to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. The condition of the two injured is critical.

In another accident, a van driver was killed following a crash with a motorcycle at Bihar Singargari intersection of Shibganj upazila of the district in the evening. The motorcyclist was injured.

Shibganj Police Station OC SM Badiuzzaman said the identity of the dead van driver could not be known. The motorcyclist was rushed to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
