2 cases lodged against Sayeed Khokon for defamatory remarks

Two cases have been filed against Sayeed Khokon, former mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), for making defamatory remarks against current DSCC mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh.
The two cases were filed in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury on Monday.
Among two cases – Kazi Anisur Rahman is the plaintiff of a case while Advocate Md. Sarwar Alam is the plaintiff of another case.
Court bench assistant Ripon Mia confirmed the matter to Daily Bangladesh.
