197 Bangladeshis died of coronavirus in Saudi Arabia

A total of 197 Bangladeshis have lost their lives in Saudi Arabia due to the coronavirus epidemic, said Md. Shahriar Alam, State Minister for Foreign Affairs on Sunday night.
According to The Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, the majority of expatriate Bangladeshis living in Saudi Arabia. The number of Bangladeshis currently staying in the country is about 12 lakh.
According to the Bangladesh Embassy in the country, 85,261 people, including Saudi nationals and expatriates, have been infected with coronavirus in the country so far. And 503 people including 197 Bangladeshis have died.
According to embassy sources, the number of infected people in the country is still increasing day by day. In the last 24 hours, 1,618 new cases have been reported in Saudi Arabia and 22 have died.
