19 of coronavirus patients recover fully

Four more coronavirus patients have fully recovered and returned home in the last 24 hours in the country, taking the total number of recovered cases to 19, said the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) on Monday. 

IEDCR Director Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora came up with the information at a regular press briefing at IEDCR office through online at around 12:30 pm on Monday.  

Earlier, a total of 48 people were infected with coronavirus in the country, said Dr Flora, adding that 15 of them returned home after fully recovered. 

She also said that four more coronavirus patients have recovered fully and returned home in the past 24 hours. A physician and nurse were Among them. Remaining two coronavirus patients received treatment from their residences.  

Meanwhile, one more patient has tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, said the IEDCR director. The new patient is a 20-year-old woman. With this, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases has increased to 49.

A total of 723,077 people have been infected and 33,983 of them died in the world so far from COVID-19, that first reported in China in December. Among the infected, so far 151,793 coronavirus patients fully recovered and returned home from the hospital.
