182 Bangladeshis died of COVID-19 in UK

A total of 182 Bangladeshis have died of coronavirus infection in the United Kingdom so far.
Public Health England has released a report on the number of ethnic minorities who have died of the virus in multinational Britain.
The report cited age as the leading cause of death from coronavirus infection. It was also reported that men died more than women.
As of May 13, 182 British nationals of Bangladeshi origin had died, the report said. Of these, 59 were in the age group of 20 to 64 years and 122 people over the age of 64 died while the highest number of deaths was in London. A total of 706 Bangladeshis were reported to be infected.
Among other communities, 92 Chinese, 746 Indians, 483 Pakistanis, 430 Africans, 613 Caribbeans and 412 from other Asian communities died of COVID-19.
