170 families on voluntary lockdown in Dinajpur

A total, 170 families of Ashrampara in Dinajpur city have put themselves on voluntary lockdown to prevent coronavirus infection. The families decided to voluntary lockdown on Tuesday afternoon.

Ashrampara resident Chiranjit Sarkar said lockdown has been taken in the area to prevent coronavirus infection. Two of the three entries in this neighbourhood have been closed. Hand wash system has been kept at the entrance. The entry of outsiders is completely banned. No one can go outside without want. 

Chandan Kumar Roy of the same area said, "There is no person infected with coronavirus in our locality. The initiative has been taken for a secure future.”    

Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mozaffar Hossain said, "This initiative must be commendable for combating coronavirus."
