17 killed in Syrian airstrike

At least 17 civilians were killed in an air strike by the Russian and Syrian forces on the on a rebel-held enclave near the Syrian capital Eastern Ghouta. At least 35 people were injured in the attack.
On Saturday, 12 people, including two children, were killed in Hammuriyeh district in the attack. Apart from this, two people in Madira district and three others died in Ervin.
According to a London-based NGO said that that there have been no such terrible and frequent air strikes in recent times in Syria. Ramee Abdel Rahman is the local director of the NGO.
The news has said that Syrian air force and Russian air force planes continued to strike one day after targeting on civilian settlement and residential area on Saturday.
Basically, the civilian areas were the main targets of their attacks. The attacks were targeted at these areas.
More than 340,000 people have been killed in Syria and millions displaced since the conflict began in March 2011 with anti-government protests.
