17 killed in Rajshahi bus-micro-leguna collision

The blast burned the microbus and leguna
At least seventeen people have been killed in a three-way collision between a bus, a microbus and a leguna (human hauler) at Katakhali in Rajshahi.
The accident took place on Friday afternoon at the Kapashia area of Katakhali in Rajshahi. Six of the deceased were passengers of a microbus.
It is learned that the accident took place due to cylinder explosion of the microbus.
The witnesses told that a Dhaka-bound Hanif Paribahan bus from Rajshahi collided with a Rajshahi-bound microbus that was coming from Dhaka. A local leguna, at the same time, collided head-on with two vehicles at Kapashia area of Katakhali.
16 people were killed in the cylinder explosion of the microbus, they said.
Police said four of the dead were women, two were children and the rest were men. “The death toll could rise further.”
