167 hospitals to get necessary manpower

Necessary manpower is being provided in 167 government hospitals of the country in phases, said the Director General of the Health Directorate, Prof. Dr. Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam.
He said this at a meeting held at Nurul Haque Auditorium, in Natore Sadar Hospital on Thursday afternoon.
The health DG said the government is committed to ensuring the desired healthcare of the people. Manpower is being deployed in government hospitals to provide this service. Work is also being done to remove the existing obstacles in manpower deployment. Besides manpower, necessary equipment of the hospital is also being added. As a continuation of this program, the required manpower will also be deployed at the 250-bed Sadar Hospital under construction in Natore very soon.
He also hoped that the proposal sent to the concerned government department would be approved soon. He also announced that an RPC machine and a generator would be added for the Covid-19 test at Natore Sadar Hospital.
Additional Secretary of the DGHS, Kazi Jebunnesa Begum and Md. Saidur Rahman, Natore BMA President Dr. Zakir Hossain, Assistant Director of Natore Sadar Hospital Dr. Md. Ansarul Haque were present at the meeting, presided over by Natore Civil Surgeon Dr. Kazi Mizanur Rahman.
Earlier, Dr. Abul Bashar inaugurated the service of digital X-ray machine at Natore Sadar Hospital and GeneXpert machines for Covid-19 test at Natore Sadar Upazila Health and Family Welfare Office (Previous Sadar Hospital).
