157 Bangladeshis return from Maldives

157 Bangladeshis stranded in Male, capital of Maldives, have returned home. They landed on a special US-Bangla flight at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 6pm on Friday.
US-Bangla Airlines General Manager (Public Relations) Md. Kamrul Islam confirmed this information to Daily Bangladesh.
He said many Bangladeshis have been stuck in different countries of the world for about four months due to coronavirus outbreak. Today, those stranded in Male were brought back by US-Bangla Airlines in collaboration with the governments of Bangladesh and Maldives.
Meanwhile, US-Bangla Airlines has operated special flights to Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Paris.
