Opponents have closed the entrance road of the house of 15 families by making a fence, raising allegations of degrading enamel fields in the Sarankhola area of Bagerhat on Wednesday evening.

The victim, Shefali Begum, alleged that a cow belonging to my house entered the enamel field of Anwar Zomadar on February 25. This caused slight damage to his field. At that time, both parties quarreled with each other. In response to the incident, they closed the entrance road of ours by making a fence. Due to this, about 15 families are now confined. We have to face extreme problems in our daily movement. We made a request to UNO in this regard.

In this regard, UP member of Ward No. 5, Hachanuzzaman Zomadar said that no one has informed me about the matter.

Besides, the Chairman of UP, Zakir Hossain Khan Mohiuddin said, “I have come to know about this through the victim family. I am out of the area for medical issues. So I could not take any action. But who do such things, did not do a good thing. If victims want to take legal action, I will help them.”

On the other hand, accused Sakhina Begum said, “We have closed the road with a fence because the land on the road is ours. If anyone has the ability, lift the fence.”

UNO Sardar Mostafa Shahin said that no such complaint has been received yet. However, action will be taken soon after investigating.
