13 more die at Rajshahi Medical’s corona unit

As many as 13 more patients have died in the last 24 hours at the corona unit in Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH). Six of them died from coronavirus, six others with the symptoms while the remaining one died after recovering from coronavirus.
RMCH director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani confirmed the information on Tuesday morning.
"From 8:00 am on Monday (June 21) to 8:00 am on Tuesday (June 22), 13 people died in different wards of RMCH. 12 of them were from Rajshahi and one from Natore," he said.
Of the 13 people dead in the Corona unit, 10 were men and three were women, he said, adding that most of them are aged between 35-60 years.
Meanwhile, 56 people have been admitted to RMCH in the last 24 hours while 61 have returned home after recovered from coronavirus. With the new patient, a total of 393 patients are now undergoing treatment in the 309-bed corona unit of the Hospital as of this morning.
