10 students, one teacher killed in Russia school shooting

Gunmen have killed 11 people, including 10 students and a teacher, at a school in southwestern Russia, Sky News reported.
The attack took place on Tuesday morning at a school in Kazan, the capital of Russia’s Tatarstan.
Citing the local sources, Russian media Sputnik reported that two unidentified gunmen stormed the school and opened fire randomly. At the same time, a bomb exploded in the school building.
An eyewitness told Sputnik News that a huge explosion was heard in the school building. Later, a lot of smoke was being emitted.
Meanwhile, police have arrested a 17-year-old suspect.
The incident took place shortly after the school reopened after an 11-day holiday marking Labor Day and the 76th anniversary of Soviet Russia’s victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
