10 injured in Jagannath University bus attack

A group of workers allegedly attacked on Jagannath University (JNU) 'Nongar' bus this afternoon. 

The bus was under attack as the students prohibiting workers from operating bus in the wrong route at Rupganj of Narayanganj. About 10 students and one worker were injured in this incident.
 
It is known that the JNU students bus was trapped in light traffic at Rupganj area. Although the bus of the university was trapped in traffic, a bus from Bangladesh's garment factory called 'Japan Bangladesh Textile' started its journey on the wrong side. In this, some JNU students protested from the bus and got involved in the dispute. Meanwhile, workers took away JNU bus staff to inside a factory.

On the issue of both side become agitated and involved in the clashes. The workers also attacked the girl students on the bus and vandalized the bus.

In this, about 11 people, including JNU students Rahad, Ujjal, Shant, Saurabh, Udita, Shimla, and one garment worker were wounded. Saiful Islam, a student of the 8th batch of the Political Science Department of JNU, said that students of the Department of Science Department Bipo Ghosh and Staff Reaz were seriously injured. The injured were rushed to the local Abdul Malek Hospital with primary treatment.

After sometimes police brought the situation under control.

Proctor Noor Mohammad said, we have initially told Rupganj police station and they are trying to find out who are related to this incident. The Proctor said that they had talked to the students and they were returning home after the initial treatment.
